Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fairtex throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fairtex breaks from the clinch.
Fairtex throws a sloppy head kick and Furtmeyr moves out of range easily.
A good leg kick by Fairtex.
Klaus Furtmeyr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fairtex stuffs the takedown attempt from Furtmeyr . Furtmeyr gets slowly back to his feet.
Fairtex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Furtmeyr .
Furtmeyr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fairtex to the mat! Fairtex manages to get full guard.
Furtmeyr drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fairtex manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Furtmeyr has Fairtex in his guard.
Fairtex knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Furtmeyr on the ground.
Furtmeyr is looking to sweep but instead, Fairtex has passed into half guard.
Fairtex decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fairtex throws an overhand right that lands on Furtmeyr 's shoulder, as Furtmeyr tries to avoid the shot.
No luck for Furtmeyr with that takedown attempt.
Colly Fairtex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klaus Furtmeyr .
Furtmeyr fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Furtmeyr or perhaps it was just good defense by Fairtex which made him look bad.
Furtmeyr shoots in looking for a takedown. Fairtex tries to sprawl out of it but Furtmeyr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fairtex manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Furtmeyr avoids the head kick by Fairtex.

Fairtex swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fairtex misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Furtmeyr misses with a takedown attempt - Fairtex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Furtmeyr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Furtmeyr looks gassed!
Fairtex knocks Furtmeyr to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Klaus Furtmeyr has been cut.
Fairtex decides to stand up, so the ref orders Furtmeyr to his feet.
Furtmeyr is still on wobbly legs! Can Fairtex finish him?

Fairtex rushes Furtmeyr and presses him up against the cage.
Fairtex breaks from the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fairtex stuffs the takedown.

Fairtex seems to be stalking Furtmeyr here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Furtmeyr drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
