Kimble is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ecstasy Of Gold. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Kingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Kimble!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingston closes the distance and clinches.
Kimble trying to stall but Kingston improves his position.
Kimble tries to work over Kingston's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kimble tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kingston just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kingston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kimble shoots for a takedown but Kingston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kimble fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jack Kingston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Kimble.
Kimble tries to clinch there but Kingston circles away.
Kingston pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kimble back to the cage. Kingston follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kimble dives in and grabs Kingston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kingston pushes down on Kimble's head and hops out.
Kimble changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Kingston moves into range and clinches up with Kimble.
Nice elbow from Kingston.

Kingston decides to pull guard.
Kimble prevents Kingston from getting back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kingston is pulling down on Kimble's head. It's preventing any offense from Kimble, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kimble accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kingston looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kingston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kingston scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kimble swings for the body but Kingston moves out of range.
Kimble fails with a takedown attempt.
Kimble shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kingston sprawls well. Kingston wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kimble gets slowly back to his feet.
Kimble misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kingston lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kimble circles away quickly and effectively.
Kimble tries for a takedown but Kingston circles away easily
and Kingston counters with a stiff right hand.
Kimble tries to clinch but Kingston is having none of it.

Kingston clinches up against the cage.
Kingston lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kingston tries to break the clinch but Kimble is controlling the position.
Kimble is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kingston pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kingston escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Some wild striking there from Kingston.
Kingston with a jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kingston moves into the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Kimble misses with an elbow over the top.

Kingston has hold of one of Kimble's legs. Kimble is fighting the takedown attempt but Kingston gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kimble looking for a triangle here. Kingston is fighting it but it looks tight! Kimble pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kingston is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). John Kimble!
A less than humble John Kimble misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
