Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gary Barlow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evan White! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White feints and as Barlow raises his hands in defense, White changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. White looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Barlow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Barlow tries to land a sweep but no joy. Barlow managing to control the position. Barlow wants to sweep here but White controlling him for the moment. Barlow is working hard here to advance position. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Barlow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Barlow has White pulled in close to control his posture.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Barlow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Barlow with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White keeping moving, preventing Barlow from controlling successfully. White is looking to regain half guard here but Barlow keeps moving and retains side control. Barlow wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working. White takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Gary Barlow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barlow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Barlow tries for a kimura but White is defending well. Barlow throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! White has his hands clasped together but Barlow breaks the hold and White is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Barlow!
