Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex The Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Stoner's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rebirth of Slick. Chuck Liddell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Stoner shoots in for a double leg but Liddell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Liddell tries to bum rush The Stoner with a series of wild strikes but The Stoner uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The Stoner avoids a kick to the body.
Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Liddell. Liddell lands with a kick to the ribs.
Liddell lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends The Stoner sprawling to the canvas. Liddell follows him down, looking for the kill. Can The Stoner hang on?
The Stoner is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! The Stoner flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Oh The Stoner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The Stoner controlling the position well. The Stoner seems to have got his legs back now. The Stoner is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Stoner is holding on to half guard well. Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Stoner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The Stoner wants to control but Liddell is keeping busy and won't allow it. Liddell blocks the strikes from The Stoner.
The Stoner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Liddell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The Stoner fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The Stoner dodges the punch combination from Liddell.
The Stoner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rex The Stoner. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Stoner is breathing heavily. A punch combination from Liddell misses. Liddell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Liddell misses with a wild combination.
Liddell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The Stoner. The Stoner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Liddell circles away. Liddell throws a nice looking combination but The Stoner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell misses with a body kick. The Stoner shoots in but Liddell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Chuck Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Stoner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Liddell throws a head kick but The Stoner moves out of range.
Liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Liddell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chuck Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Liddell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Liddell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The Stoner controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddell wants to stand but The Stoner is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The Stoner slips nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Liddell dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The Stoner tries for a takedown but Liddell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss. Liddell throws a right hand that The Stoner ducks under and follows up with a left that The Stoner also avoids with ease. The Stoner shoots in but Liddell avoids the takedown attempt easily. The Stoner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Liddell dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The Stoner takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
This has been an exciting period of action! The Stoner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rex The Stoner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Liddell cracks a nice hook into The Stoner's ribs. Liddell looks to land a left hand but The Stoner moved out of range nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Liddell misses with a body kick. Liddell throws a head kick but The Stoner moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell throws a big shot that misses. The Stoner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Liddell is in trouble now - The Stoner has advanced to mount! Liddell has left one of his arms exposed and The Stoner doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Liddell screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
