Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Twister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wallace might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pray by Jay-Z feat. Rob Dougan. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antoine Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Twister!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twister scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Twister throws out a loose jab but Wallace uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wallace swings widly with a right hand
and Twister counters with a stiff right hand.
Wallace ducks under a wild hook from Twister.
Twister tries to bum rush Wallace with a series of wild strikes but Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Twister looks to score with a jab to the body but Wallace is just out of range.
Wallace throws an off balance right hand
and Wallace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wallace misses with an uppercut
enabling Twister to counter with a crisp jab.
Twister scores with a sloppy right hand. Wallace should have avoided that one.
Twister fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wallace swings widly with a right hand
and Twister counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wallace thinking.

Antoine Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Wallace throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Twister fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wallace manages to avoid it.

Wallace throws a lazy right hand but Twister sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Wallace throws a hook to the side of Twister's head but Twister sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Wallace counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Twister tries to keep at a distance but Wallace has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Twister has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wallace uses from the top position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Twister controls Wallace momentarily but Wallace frees himself.

Twister had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wallace defends it easily.

Twister postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wallace is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Twister, into his guard.
Wallace has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Antoine Wallace will probably get the nod.

Wallace got a little sloppy there for a moment and Twister has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wallace has managed to get both his arms back between Twister's legs - danger averted.

Wallace arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Twister's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
