Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alaric Visigoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Visigoth might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to THUNDERSTRUCK. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alaric Visigoth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rico Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez closes the distance and pushes Visigoth back into the cage.
Visigoth tries to score a body lock takedown but Sanchez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sanchez pushes off an throws an elbow but Visigoth leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Visigoth is trying to drag Sanchez to the mat but Sanchez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Visigoth drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alaric Visigoth. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sanchez is trying to stick to Visigoth's back but Visigoth is turning into Sanchez. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sanchez's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Visigoth.

Visigoth got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sanchez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Visigoth has managed to get both his arms back between Sanchez's legs - danger averted.

Sanchez is pressed up against the cage. Visigoth has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sanchez down to the mat. Sanchez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Visigoth postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Sanchez on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Sanchez doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
