0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billie Botha! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TseyTsey closes the distance and clinches. Botha has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by TseyTsey after a bit of a struggle. TseyTsey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Botha uses from the top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. TseyTsey is striking off his back. Botha thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Botha is trying to work for a kimura but TseyTsey is defending well.
TseyTsey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Botha controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Botha stopping the sweep attempt from TseyTsey. Botha is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. TseyTsey working a defensive guard but Botha passes into half guard.

TseyTsey flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
TseyTsey is looking to control Botha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can TseyTsey avoid being mounted? Still in half guard, Botha seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Botha is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, TseyTsey has managed to free his arm - good work. TseyTsey wants to control the action here but instead Botha manages to pass to full mount! Botha controlling from the full mount. Botha dominating with strikes here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Botha is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. TseyTsey can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
TseyTsey tries to get back to half guard but can't. Botha is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. TseyTsey is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. TseyTsey flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Botha anticipates the leg and manages to get behind TseyTsey and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Botha slips an arm under TseyTsey chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Botha has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Botha is squeezing on TseyTsey like an anaconda would it's prey. TseyTsey fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
