Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Santucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Santucho throws a head kick that misses.
Santucho throws a sloppy head kick and Ben moves out of range easily.
Ben tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ben uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Santucho.
Santucho checks a leg kick.
Pablo Santucho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ben swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Santucho connects with a right hand. Ben shakes it off.
Santucho lands a slapping body shot.

Santucho looking to score a takedown here. Ben is defending well but Santucho drives through and ends up in Ben's guard.
Ben controls Santucho momentarily but Santucho frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ben throws a head kick but Santucho moves out of range.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santucho is on top in guard.
Ben is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Santucho is controlling him.

Ben has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Santucho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santucho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Santucho's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Santucho throws a strike but Ben rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santucho is on top in guard.
Ben is trying to control the position but Santucho postures up.
Santucho keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ben's head.
Santucho postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ben is adopting a defensive guard.
Santucho won't allow Ben to sweep him here.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Santucho postures up in Ben's guard and throws a big left but Ben blocks it.
Santucho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ben swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ben on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ben tries to get out of the position.

Ben throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ben controls Santucho momentarily but Santucho frees himself.
Ben bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Santucho's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Santucho shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Santucho was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ben wants to hold on but Santucho pushes him away.
Santucho has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ben's face.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Santucho can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ben is looking to escape.
BOOM! Santucho connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Santucho is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ben can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Ben is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Santucho lands a big shot there that rocks Ben but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ben swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Santucho is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ben can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Santucho. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Santucho pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Santucho unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Ben wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Santucho celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
