Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johonny Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wyatt Jennings!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash fails with the takedown.

Crash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jennings lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Crash or not.
Crash trying to land knees to the body.

Crash gets control of Jennings's arms and successfully pulls guard. Crash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jennings got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jennings has managed to get both his arms back between Crash's legs - danger averted.
Jennings is fighting to break Crash's control of his arms but Crash is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jennings wants to pass the guard but Crash is keeping the position.

Jennings wants to stand but Crash is controlling his posture from full guard.
Crash wants to sweep here but Jennings controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Johonny Crash.
Jennings wants to clinch but Crash slips to the side
and Jennings takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jennings is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Crash fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jennings avoids it really well and circles away.
Jennings tries to clinch up
and Crash counters with a nice leg kick.

Jennings defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Crash.

Jennings attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

and Crash counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Crash.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jennings wants to break the clinch but can't.

Crash gets control of Jennings's arms and successfully pulls guard. Crash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jennings wants to stand and escape but instead Crash has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Crash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jennings swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jennings wants to get back to his feet but Crash is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Crash is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jennings is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Crash trying to control the position from guard on top but Jennings is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jennings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jennings scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Crash looks to score with a jab to the body but Jennings is just out of range.
Jennings tries to land a leg kick but Crash saw it coming and moves away.
Jennings tries to clinch but Crash is having none of it.
Wyatt Jennings is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Crash shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crash showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Crash seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Crash stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Crash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Crash circles away from the clinch attempt

and Crash counters by clinching up.
Jennings can't break the clinch.

Crash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jennings fails in his attempt to clinch.
Crash misses with a takedown attempt - Jennings sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jennings throws a right and a left that Crash avoids nicely.

and Crash counters by moving into the clinch.

Crash drags the fight down to the ground.
Crash trying to keep a closed guard but Jennings is proving a slippery customer.
Crash wants to sweep but no luck.

Jennings wants to stand and escape but instead Crash has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Crash decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Crash circles away from the clinch attempt

and Crash counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jennings's guard now.
Johonny Crash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Crash advances position into side control!
Jennings is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Crash is controlling him well.
Crash tries to move into full mount but can't pass Jennings's legs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crash decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jennings displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crash.
Jennings is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Crash misses with a double jab
and Jennings counters with a three punch combo that has Crash backing up. Crash nods at Jennings to acknowledge the strikes.
Jennings digs a good hook to Crash's body.
Jennings tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Crash counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jennings won't be happy with that.
Jennings wants to get back to his feet but Crash drags him back down.
Crash moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The strikes coming from Crash are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Jennings taking a bit of punishment here - Crash scoring with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crash creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Jennings dodges the ground and pound from Crash.
Crash controls the position from side control.
Jennings prevents Crash from improving position.

Crash moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Crash trying to control the action but Jennings is working from the bottom.
Jennings tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
BOOM! Crash connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Crash working for a submission but Jennings is keeping him at bay.
Jennings is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Crash has taken his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johonny Crash dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Jennings leaves Crash with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Crash will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jennings tries to clinch up

and Crash counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jennings tries to kick Crash off but Crash keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Crash trying to control the pace.
Jennings is trying to stand up here but Crash is controlling him well.

Crash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jennings defends it well.

Crash passes the guard and advances to mount!
Crash controlling his opponent.
Jennings is squirming around, avoiding Crash's attempts to control the action.
Jennings is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crash thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Crash throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Crash goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jennings is on top in guard.
Crash manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jennings manages to get himself to full guard.
Crash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jennings swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jennings wants to get back to his feet but Crash is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crash wants to control from the top but Jennings keeps moving.
Crash is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Jennings fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jennings is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Crash asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Crash has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jennings!
Wyatt Jennings has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Crash trying to control but Jennings is having none of it.
Johonny Crash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
