Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Kozko!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a head kick but Kozko moves out of range.
James misses with an attempted mid kick.

Kozko gets in close and instigates a clinch.
James throws a knee to the head but misses.
James misses with some punches.
James tries to circle away but Kozko has him pinned against the ropes.
Kozko lands a knee to the head.


It looks like John James has been cut.
James throws an elbow that misses.
Kozko connects with a nasty looking knee right to James's face.

Kozko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A combination from James does no damage.
James throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Ivan Kozko has been cut.

Kozko has James up against the ropes in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kozko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
James throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kozko.
Kozko scores with a head kick. James tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A head kick misses from James.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James throws a head kick but Kozko moves out of range.

Kozko closes the distance and pushes James back into the ropes.
Kozko lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kozko manages to break the clinch.

Kozko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the ropes.
James is trying to break free.
James throws a knee to the head but misses.
A nice left hand lands by Kozko.
Kozko tries a knee to the head but James blocks it.

James is rocked!

Oh James is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kozko leaning against his opponent.
Kozko is controlling James's neck. Kozko unleashes a big knee up the middle! And another! James goes down! Can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6... he's not going to make it! 9,10. It's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Ivan Kozko!
A very excited looking Ivan Kozko rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
