The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Harvey paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ortiz has managed to clinch.
Harvey blocks an uppercut.
A body shot lands from Ortiz.
Harvey throws a punch but it's blocked by Ortiz.
Ortiz has Harvey pressed against the cage.
Harvey tries to break free but Ortiz pushes him back against the cage.
Ortiz throws a head punch that misses.
Harvey blocks a body shot from Ortiz.
Harvey is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ortiz is trying to trip Harvey. He has hold of a leg but Harvey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ortiz persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ortiz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harvey circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Paul Harvey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Harvey enables Ortiz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Harvey manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Randy Ortiz.
Ortiz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harvey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ortiz somewhat.

Harvey takes a body punch but keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Ortiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
