Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guilherme Fonseca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harrison Reeler! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fonseca shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reeler as he avoids it easily. Reeler is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fonseca shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Reeler tries to get to full guard but Fonseca has control of the leg. Fonseca is figuring out what he wants to do next. Reeler trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fonseca sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Reeler defending well though. Fonseca performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Reeler keeping control of the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fonseca slips a jab and a cross from Reeler.
Reeler misses with a head kick.
Reeler throws a leg kick but Fonseca sees it coming and moves out of range. No joy there for Reeler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fonseca looks to land a left hand but Reeler moved out of range nicely. Reeler scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Reeler leaves Fonseca with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fonseca looking to score a takedown here. Reeler is defending well but Fonseca drives through and ends up in Reeler's guard. Fonseca is breathing heavily. Reeler pulls Fonseca in close to prevent any damage. Fonseca wants to control from the top but Reeler keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fonseca looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Reeler pulls Fonseca in to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fonseca shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Reeler manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fonseca trying to control the position from guard on top but Reeler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reeler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Reeler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fonseca is controlling him. Reeler controls Fonseca momentarily but Fonseca frees himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fonseca wants to control from the top but Reeler keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Guilherme Fonseca will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Reeler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Reeler with a couple of short strikes. Reeler cracks Fonseca with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Reeler stands up from mount. Strange move. Reeler will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Reeler throws a nice looking combination but Fonseca bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fonseca misses with a takedown and Reeler counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reeler is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reeler stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fonseca tries to clinch there but Reeler circles away.
Reeler has his takedown stuffed and Fonseca moves into the clinch. Reeler lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Reeler throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Reeler scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reeler is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Fonseca is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
