Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Richlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richlin has chosen Real American Heroes: Mr. Losing Locker Room Reporter as his entrance music. Paul Anderson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Richlin! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richlin gets a clinch. Anderson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Richlin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Andersons head. Richlin misses with an elbow over the top. Richlin gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Richlin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. I looks like Richlin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Richlin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Anderson is trying to hold Richlin in close to prevent damage but Richlin has managed to pass into half guard.
Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Richlin trying to pass the guard but Anderson defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richlin scoring with strikes to the body and head. Richlin controlling the pace. Richlin works his way into side control. Richlin taking a breather here. Anderson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richlin just content to control the position. Richlin works to advance to full mount. Anderson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Richlin looking to control and managing it successfully. Richlin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Anderson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Anderson wants to hold on but Richlin pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson is just holding on here. Richlin manages to take his back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Anderson looking very determined here, making life difficult for Richlin.
Richlin slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Richlin lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Anderson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Richlin is looking for the choke from the back position but Anderson is controlling his hands well. Anderson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Richlin controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richlin manages to capitalize on a mistake by Anderson to take his back! Richlin controls the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Richlin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Richlin gets a takedown into half guard. Richlin looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Richlin trying to control the pace. Anderson is trying to control but can't.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Richlin in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richlin seems to be working for a kimura but Anderson defends the submission attempt. Richlin is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Despite being in the dominant position, Frank Richlin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anderson tries for a takedown but Richlin circles away easily and Richlin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anderson's guard now. Richlin passes easily into side control. Nice work. Anderson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Richlin is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richlin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Anderson is now in Richlin's guard. A big mistake from Richlin there, giving up the dominant position! Richlin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard. Richlin trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Anderson working a defensive guard but Richlin manages to pass into side control anyway.
Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Richlin keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson looking for a sweep but Richlin has passed into full mount! Oh no! Richlin trying to control but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson is looking to get to half guard. Anderson is controlling an arm, preventing Richlin from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Richlin working away from the top, dropping strikes. Richlin working away from the top, dropping strikes. Richlin landing strikes, looking to finish! Richlin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Anderson is rocked! Richlin lands a heavy elbow. Oh Anderson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Anderson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Richlin's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
