The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamiak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vulgar pinned against the cage. Vulgar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adamiak darts in trying to clinch
and Vulgar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adamiak won't be happy with that.
Adamiak tries to get back to half guard but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Adamiak parries the strikes from Vulgar easily there. Vulgar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Adamiak to escape.
Adamiak tries to bench press Vulgar off him but Vulgar keeps the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adamiak can do anything to dispel that myth.
Adamiak is trying to control Vulgar's posture but Vulgar avoids it.
Vulgar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adamiak is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Vulgar is staying active.
Vulgar controls the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vulgar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Vulgar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Adamiak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vulgar defends it nicely.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Adamiak enables Vulgar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Adamiak manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Vulgar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Vulgar trying to control the position from guard on top but Adamiak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Adamiak throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Vulgar escapes and throws Adamiak's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The strikes coming from Vulgar are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
A lull in the action here as Vulgar stalls from top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adamiak is not content to let Vulgar control the position.
Vulgar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Vulgar advances nicely into full mount.

Vulgar lands with some strikes.
It looks like Adam Adamiak has been cut.
Adamiak tries to hold on but Vulgar pushes him away.
Adamiak is working to get back to half guard.
Adamiak tries to lock up and control but Vulgar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Adamiak is in a horrible position here. Vulgar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adamiak looks gassed!
Vulgar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Vulgar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Adamiak can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The cut above Adam Adamiak's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice elbow there by Vulgar.
Adam Adamiak's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Adam Adamiak's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
