Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lars Christiansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogg Nogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogg has chosen Pantera : 5 Minutes Alone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Nogg there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nogg pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nogg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Christiansen.
Nogg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nogg buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nogg moves out of range as Christiansen strikes.
Left hook, right uppercut from Nogg.
Christiansen scores with a body shot.
Nogg scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nice cross by Nogg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Christiansen jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Christiansen looks to land a combination but Nogg avoids it well.
Christiansen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Christiansen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Nogg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Christiansen was covering up waiting for the punch and Nogg finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Christiansen is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Christiansen wants to stand and escape but Nogg is having none of it.
Christiansen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Nogg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nogg working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Christiansen's head.
Nogg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Christiansen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nogg is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Christiansen wants to sweep here but Nogg controlling him for the moment.

Nogg prevents Christiansen from improving his position.
Christiansen is not content to let Nogg control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nogg is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Nogg scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Christiansen wants to control but Nogg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Nogg frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Christiansen is trying desperately to improve position.
Christiansen is in a horrible position here. Nogg smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Christiansen is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogg putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Nogg has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nogg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Christiansen looks a forlorn figure.

Nogg loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Christiansen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Nogg land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Nogg stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ogg Nogg!
After winning the bout, Ogg Nogg thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
