Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Soupra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Bjj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timmy Soupra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boxing Bjj! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bjj throws out a loose jab but Soupra uses good head movement to avoid it. Bjj tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Soupra buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A jab from Bjj misses. Bjj throws a sloppy head kick and Soupra counters with a leg kick. Soupra is looking to slow Bjj down with leg kicks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bjj missing with a left hand there. Soupra was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bjj stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Soupra. Bjj looks gassed! Bjj misses with a head kick.
Bjj on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Soupra looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Soupra buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Soupra ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A slapping body kick lands there for Soupra. Soupra throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Boxing Bjj has been cut. A good leg kick by Soupra. Soupra works Bjj's body with a nice hook. Soupra scores with a jab to the head.
Soupra scores with a jab to the body. An inside leg kick lands from Soupra. Soupra with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Soupra feints and then cracks Bjj's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bjj down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soupra dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bjj. That did some damage! Boxing Bjj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bjj on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A good leg kick by Soupra. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Soupra looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Soupra throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Bjj's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Soupra dives in looking to finish as Bjj flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Soupra's strikes! Soupra is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Bjj's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Bjj was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
