Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Jones!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wayne.
Barry Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters with a head kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jones, right into the meat.

Wayne gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wayne is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wayne down to the mat. Wayne avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Wayne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Barry Wayne has been cut.
Wayne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Wayne persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Wayne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wayne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wayne napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Wayne tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.
Jones misses with the ground and pound.
Jones landing strikes.

Wayne is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Jones throws an elbow but Wayne slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wayne wants to control but Jones postures up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
