The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emir closes the distance and clinches up with Cane, looking for a takedown. Emir pushes Cane against the cage but Cane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Louie Cane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fatih Emir.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Emir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
