And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ste McGhee!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGhee shoots in but no luck this time.

Blimm decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Blimm wants to get back to his feet.
McGhee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Blimm not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

McGhee makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Blimm circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blimm scores with a one two! McGhee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGhee moves in looking to clinch but Blimm pushes him off.
McGhee is looking to chop away at Blimm's legs.
Blimm fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.

A jab-cross combination lands for Blimm and sends McGhee crashing to the mat! Blimm follows him down to the mat - McGhee regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

McGhee is rocked!

It looks like Ste McGhee has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGhee wants to get back to his feet.
McGhee is still in real trouble! Can Blimm finish him?
Blimm takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Blimm stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
McGhee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Blimm lands a big head kick that sends McGhee to the canvas! Blimm follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bam Blimm!
