The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Bommel blocks a head kick by Berkovitz.
van Bommel throws a chopping leg kick but Berkovitz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Berkovitz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Berkovitz moves into the clinch successfully.
van Bommel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Berkovitz fails in his attempt to clinch.
van Bommel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Berkovitz on the side of the head.
van Bommel connects with a crisp jab.

Berkovitz is rocked!
van Bommel looks for the body kick but Berkovitz saw that one coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
van Bommel throws a jab when Berkovitz was well out of range.
Berkovitz tests van Bommel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
van Bommel lands a big head kick that sends Berkovitz to the canvas! van Bommel follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
