Jones looks to clinch
and McIllhenny counters with a nice uppercut.
McIllhenny misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McIllhenny throws an off balance right hand

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch.
Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but McIllhenny gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage.
Jones lands a shoulder strike.
Jones lands a left hand.
McIllhenny blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Jones working some nice short punches in the clinch.
McIllhenny drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jones tries to clinch but McIllhenny is having none of it.

McIllhenny tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by McIllhenny.
McIllhenny is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Jones looks to throw an elbow but misses.
McIllhenny dodges an elbow strike from Jones.

McIllhenny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McIllhenny lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
McIllhenny misses with a low kick.
McIllhenny throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McIllhenny.
McIllhenny tries a head kick but it misses.
McIllhenny jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Jones tries to clinch up
and McIllhenny counters with a nice body kick.
McIllhenny scores with a nice right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McIllhenny throws a big shot that misses.
A low kick from McIllhenny is predictable there
and Jones counters with a three punch combo that has McIllhenny backing up. McIllhenny nods at Jones to acknowledge the strikes.
Jones moves to clinch but McIllhenny breaks away
and McIllhenny makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces McIllhenny off the cage and back into range.

Jones has closed the distance and engaged McIllhenny in a clinch.
McIllhenny takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Fink McIllhenny has been cut.

McIllhenny is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jones can't fight it off and eventually McIllhenny manages to take the fight to the floor. Jones looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McIllhenny's guard.
Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.

McIllhenny escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jones throws a sloppy strike and McIllhenny has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Jones is forced to tap! Great BJJ from McIllhenny!
