Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Double Rainbow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rainbow kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Double Rainbow All the Way!!. Mega has chosen Black and Yellow as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Double Rainbow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Mega! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Mega does no damage. Rainbow takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rainbow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rainbow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mega as he avoids it easily. Rainbow shoots in for a double leg but Mega sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. No luck for Rainbow with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Double Rainbow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rainbow on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rainbow moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mega lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rainbow at a distance.
Max Mega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mega misses with a few strikes there.
Mega circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mega throws out a powerful jab. Mega misses with a two punch combination.
Mega lands with an uppercut that bounces Rainbow off the cage and back into range. Rainbow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rainbow shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nice straight punches there by Mega. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mega. Rainbow slips under a jab from Mega. Mega cracks Rainbow with an open hand slap. Mega lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rainbow circles away quickly and effectively. Rainbow on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rainbow fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mega getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Mega lands a nice hook to Rainbow's body. Rainbow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Mega jabs Rainbow to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mega scores with a one two! Rainbow had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Mega scores with a three punch combo!
Rainbow is rocked! Rainbow is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Mega moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Mega! An out of breath Max Mega thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
