The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pierre throws out the jab.
Pierre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
A big left from Pierre misses.
Pierre is looking to clinch.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pierre counters with a stiff right hand.
Pierre throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
Silva tries for a takedown but Pierre circles away easily
enabling Pierre to counter with a crisp jab.
Pierre connects with a superb combination that knocks Silva out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Pierre before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Silva!
