Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between el Steveo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Flinch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, el Steveo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Flinch! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Steveo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Robert Flinch has been cut. Flinch looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Flinch misses with a takedown attempt and Steveo counters with a stiff right hand. Steveo cracks Flinch with an uppercut from hell and Flinch crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Steveo's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Flinch is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Steveo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Flinch is still in real trouble! Can Steveo finish him? Steveo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flinch is keeping the position for now. Steveo throws a big right hand that misses. Flinch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Flinch seems to have recovered his senses. Steveo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Flinch is proving hard to escape from. Flinch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Steveo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steveo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flinch swivels though and keeps the full guard. Steveo is pushing down on Flinch's leg trying to pass to half guard. Flinch is fighting to maintain full guard but Steveo has managed to sneak the leg through. Steveo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Flinch's head. Steveo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Flinch is bucking up trying to escape but Steveo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That has opened up Robert Flinch's cut even more. Steveo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Steveo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The cut above Robert Flinch's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robert Flinch's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). el Steveo!
