Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bone Dust!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, David Long!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dust scores with the left hand. Long knows he should have avoided that one.
Dust shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Long counters with a nice uppercut.
Good shot there by Long.
Long jabs Dust right on the nose. Dust blinks but takes it well.
Dust slips a jab and a cross from Long.
Dust gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Long counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Long scores with a nice head shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Long. That's going to slow Dust down.
Dust ducks right into an uppercut from Long.
Dust lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Long circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dust moves out of range of the strikes.
Long pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Long ducks under a wild hook from Dust.
Dust fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bone Dust. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dust takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Long lands a jab to Dust's midsection.
Dust misses with a wild body shot.
A head kick from Long lands but Dust takes it in his stride.
Long swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dust.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Long defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dust.
A jab lands there for Long.
Long lands a slapping body shot.
Long throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Long scores with a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Long connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dust. Dust circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Long lands with a hook. Dust tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dust rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Long counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Long throws a head kick that misses.
Dust will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Long cracks Dust with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dust gets cracked there but stands up to it.


Dust is rocked!
Dust shoots in for a takedown but Long shows good takedown defense.
Long connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dust. Dust circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oh Dust is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dust. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A jab from Long does it's job there.
Long might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Dust gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Long gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Long!
David Long is the new featherweight champion!
