The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldini has his takedown stuffed
and Obata counters with a leg kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maldini.
Maldini has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Obata finds it's way round the side to connect with Maldini's head.
It looks like Jose Maldini has been cut.
Obata lands with a cross.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maldini.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maldini tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Obata counters with a straight right hand.
Obata lands a right hook to the body.

BAM! Obata delivers a spinning backfist that drops Maldini like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ozuma Obata spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
