Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wade Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Seeberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Walker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to wanted dead or alive. Seeberg has chosen Alice in chains - Check my brain as his entrance music. Wade Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seeberg throws the kick towards the body but Walker avoids it.
Seeberg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walker lands a head shot.
Walker tries a head kick but it misses.
Seeberg throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Seeberg lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and Seeberg finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Seeberg ducks under a wild hook from Walker.

Seeberg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Seeberg on his heels. He'll look to pass Seeberg's guard now, I'm sure.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Walker is looking to stand up but Seeberg won't let him.
Seeberg is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Walker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Seeberg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Walker stands up from Seeberg's guard - Walker perhaps looking for a knockout.
Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Walker moves into the clinch.
Seeberg lands a damaging elbow.
Walker jumps guard but Seeberg stands there with Walker around his waist. Walker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Anton Seeberg was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Seeberg tries to clinch there but Walker circles away.
Walker looks for a takedown but Seeberg sprawls well.
Seeberg avoids the head kick by Walker.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wade Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Seeberg is defending well.
Seeberg is trying to stall.

Seeberg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Seeberg closes the distance and pushes Walker back into the cage.
Walker is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Seeberg to keep the fight standing.

Seeberg tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it.
Seeberg throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Walker plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Seeberg throws a front kick that sends Walker stumbling back into the cage.
Walker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Seeberg. That one must have hurt.

The fight stays on the outside here - Walker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Walker has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Seeberg uses from the top position.

Walker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seeberg is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Anton Seeberg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Seeberg. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Seeberg - the referee stops the clock and Walker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Seeberg. Walker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Walker can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Seeberg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
