Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT. Buck Blaze has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Blaze counter with a right hand.

It looks like Carter Potter has been cut.
Potter moves forwards but Blaze connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Blaze misses with an uppercut.
Potter tries a low kick but Blaze avoids it.
Potter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Blaze throws a shot from downtown. Potter moves away and avoids it.
Blaze throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Blaze bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Potter's head backwards.
Buck Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blaze lands a jab to the head.
The crowd cheers as Blaze lands an impressive looking overhand right. Potter doesn't seem phased though.
Nice defenses there by Potter.

Carter Potter's cut is getting worse.
Potter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Blaze connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Potter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Blaze misses with an uppercut
and Potter counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Blaze thows a leg kick but Potter checks it
and Potter counters with a nice uppercut.
Blaze might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

A telegraphed right hand from Blaze misses the target.
Blaze changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Blaze.
Potter lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Blaze slips a straight right by Potter.
Potter misses with an uppercut.
Blaze misses with a low kick.
Potter takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Carter Potter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaze moves away from the strike by Potter.

Potter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blaze manages to avoid it.
Blaze throws a big shot that misses.
Potter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Blaze has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Blaze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blaze avoids the body shot from Potter.
Blaze fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Potter checks it well.
Blaze tests Potter's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Jeez, Carter Potter's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Blaze throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blaze looks to land a left hand but Potter moved out of range nicely.
Blaze fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Nice combo by Blaze! Oh, that's hurt him - Potter falls to the canvas and Blaze follows him into side control.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Carter Potter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

In his post fight interview, Buck Blaze started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
