Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Huw Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Sitrousti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitrousti throws a right and a left that Hopkins avoids nicely.
Sitrousti thows a body shot but no joy.
Hopkins slips a jab and a cross from Sitrousti.
Sitrousti scores with a nice strike.
Hopkins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sitrousti to the ground. Hopkins is now in Sitrousti's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hopkins wants to control from the top but Sitrousti keeps moving.

Hopkins lands with a hook. Sitrousti tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hopkins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sitrousti, pushing him back against the cage.

Sitrousti jumps guard but Hopkins stands there with Sitrousti around his waist. Sitrousti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sitrousti shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hopkins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Sitrousti can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hopkins is looking to escape.
Sitrousti tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

BOOM! Sitrousti connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hopkins is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sitrousti is working the ground and pound. Can Hopkins escape?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sitrousti lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Hopkins.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Huw Hopkins.
