The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua misses with a few strikes there.
Rua rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Relva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Relva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rua throws a series of strikes that have Relva backpedaling.
Rua throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rua misses with a wild combination.
A jab lands there for Rua.
Relva is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rua throws a right hand that Relva ducks under and follows up with a left that Relva also avoids with ease.
Relva is still on wobbly legs! Can Rua finish him?
Rua throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Relva colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rua as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Relva is left battered and dazed whilst Rua and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alejandro Rua!
