Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Rush - Limelight as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roddy Ferguson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dino Adams!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ferguson.
Ferguson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Adams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Adams throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ferguson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ferguson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ferguson has gone for a leg lock! Adams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ferguson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ferguson is on top in guard.
Ferguson is in close to Adams's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferguson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Adams preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Adams has momentary wrist control but Ferguson slips an elbow through the middle.

Ferguson distracts Adams with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ferguson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Adams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Adams has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ferguson has his feet on Adams's thighs here. He's pushed Adams off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Adams screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Roddy Ferguson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
