The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but Novikov is just out of range.
Scott tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Novikov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Scott looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Scott is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Novikov is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Novikov lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
It looks like Mark Scott has been cut.
Scott keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
