Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Hosea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hosea's choice of entrance music: Busta Rhymes - Break Ya Neck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Hosea! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hosea shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hosea thinking. Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hosea tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Hosea's guard. Johnson looking to pass the guard. Johnson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Johnson closes the distance and clinches. Hosea breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hosea throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hosea's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Hosea is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hosea's guard. Hosea looks gassed! Hosea utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson stands up and waves to Hosea to follow him. Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Hosea in a clinch.
Johnson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hosea lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Johnson wants the takedown. Hosea is fighting it off but Johnson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hosea's guard against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Hosea is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson slips nicely into half guard. Johnson is taking a breather. Hosea says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Hosea is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Johnson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Johnson misses with a head shot. Hosea uses the momentum to regain guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hosea is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hosea has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hosea can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Johnson looking for a guillotine here but Hosea defends easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson pushes Hosea off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hosea shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Johnson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hosea takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A solid leg kick lands there for Johnson.
Hosea goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hosea tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Hosea's guard. Hosea avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard. Hosea is breathing heavily. Hosea wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Anthony Johnson just wasn't active enough. Johnson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Johnson instigates a clinch. Hosea is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
The referee is keeping an eye on Johnson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Johnson jumps guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hosea is aware though and is defending well. Johnson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Johnson looking to control.

Johnson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Johnson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson managing to control the position.
Anthony Johnson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Johnson dives in and grabs Hosea's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hosea pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out. Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard. Anthony Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson wants to control from the top but Hosea keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hosea can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Anthony Johnson just wasn't active enough. Johnson clinches. Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Anthony Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A lazy body kick from Hosea and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Daniel Hosea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson darts in and clinches Hosea up against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A short right from Johnson. Hosea is fighting off a takedown attempt but Johnson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hosea to the mat. Hosea regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hosea keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Johnson dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Hosea gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch. Johnson tries to score a body lock takedown but Hosea shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Johnson fails to pull guard.

Hosea working some strikes from top position. Hosea landing some decent shots from guard. Hosea is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hosea is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him. Hosea takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hosea with a flurry of punches that miss. Johnson pulls Hosea in close to his closed guard and prevents Hosea from doing any damage or advancing position. Hosea wants to stand and escape but instead Johnson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson with a flurry of punches that miss. Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hosea can do to turn this around? Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard. Johnson pushing down on Hosea's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hosea does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson controlling the pace. Johnson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Johnson lands a big shot there that rocks Hosea but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The referee warns Hosea that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson breaks from Hosea's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Hosea is rocked! Johnson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Hosea wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Johnson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Johnson! Anthony Johnson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
