Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Da Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ross Ocipzak!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ocipzak tries a low kick but Da Silva avoids it.
Ocipzak just misses with a punch to the body.
Da Silva with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ocipzak wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ocipzak is trying to pull guard but Da Silva turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Da Silva lands a shoulder strike.
Da Silva lands an elbow that stopped Ocipzak in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Ross Ocipzak has been cut.
Da Silva lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ocipzak backwards.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Da Silva lands a nice knee to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ocipzak is looking to control Da Silva's arms but Da Silva gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ocipzak has his back to the cage.

Ocipzak jumps guard but Da Silva stands there with Ocipzak around his waist. Ocipzak gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Da Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ocipzak swings for the body but Da Silva moves out of range.
Ocipzak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Da Silva tries to avoid it but Ocipzak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Da Silva to the ground. Da Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ocipzak takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
David Da Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A jab lands there for Da Silva.
Da Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Da Silva pushes Ocipzak away with a front kick.
Ocipzak takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Da Silva has closed the distance and engaged Ocipzak in a clinch.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Da Silva for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

That has opened up Ross Ocipzak's cut even more.

Ocipzak shoots for a double leg takedown but Da Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Ocipzak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ocipzak avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Da Silva lands a nice hook to Ocipzak's body. Ocipzak takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ocipzak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Da Silva is looking to wear down Ocipzak with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Ocipzak has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Da Silva.

Ocipzak's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Da Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Da Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ocipzak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ross Ocipzak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
David Da Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
