Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Pressley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Craig! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pressley gets in close and instigates a clinch. Pressley lands a hook that snaps the head of Craig backwards. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Pressley lands an uppercut. Craig's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pressley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Craig paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pressley staying out of range there. Pressley moves in looking to clinch but Craig pushes him off. Craig circles away from the clinch attempt and Craig counters with a nice leg kick. Pressley misses with a hook. Craig ducked under it nicely. Pressley moves into range and clinches up with Craig. Pressley lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Pressley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Craig is defending well for now. Pressley is pressed up against the cage. Craig has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pressley down to the mat. Pressley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Darren Pressley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Craig scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pressley doesn't seem bothered though. Pressley clinches up with Craig and pushes him back against the cage. Pressley lands with a right to the head. Pressley misses with a hook from the clinch. That was a close round but I would say that Darren Pressley will probably get the nod. That's time! Pressley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Craig shoots in for a double leg but Pressley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Craig wants to clinch up but Pressley keeps it at a distance. Pressley tries to close the distance and clinch but Craig swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pressley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Craig manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Craig looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pressley is fending him off so far but Craig persists. Nope, Pressley circles away and we're back to standing. Pressley scores with a leg kick.

After a battle for position, Craig asserts his dominance and retains side control. Craig throwing shots but missing, from side control. Craig is looking to take a break and control but Pressley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pressley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Craig is controlling him well. Craig stands up and we're back to a striking position. Craig on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Craig is trying to force a seperation but Pressley has the dominant position. Craig pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Craig fails with the takedown. Darren Pressley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Craig. Pressley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pressley lands on the inside with an uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pressley. Pressley throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Craig blocks it with crossed arms. Craig misses with a knee strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pressley throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Craig has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pressley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Craig just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pressley manages to reverse the position and now he's in Craig's guard. Nice work there by Pressley.
And that's the end of the fight! Darren Pressley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pressley, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
