Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Quim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richie Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Jay-Z- American Gangster as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Richie Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quim on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Quim just misses with a punch to the body.
Roberts wants to clinch.
Roberts ducks under a wild hook from Quim.
Quim keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Quim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Quim in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Roberts wants to get back to his feet but Quim drags him back down.
Quim cracks Roberts with a big elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roberts is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Quim has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Quim is looking to take a break and control but Roberts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Quim scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Roberts to see if he's OK.
Quim prevents Roberts from escaping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roberts is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big shot lands for Quim! That's hurt Roberts! Will he recover? Quim fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
