Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Micheals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blatt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to you're going down- sick puppies. Micheals comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Whoa is Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blatt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Micheals.
Micheals looks gassed!
Blatt tries to clinch but Micheals is having none of it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Micheals. Blatt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Micheals throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Micheals staying out of range there.
Blatt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Blatt lands a jab to the head.
Blatt throws an overhand right that lands on Micheals's shoulder, as Micheals tries to avoid the shot.
Micheals takes a jab right on the kisser.
Micheals thows a body shot but no joy.
Blatt scores with a sloppy right hand. Micheals should have avoided that one.
Blatt with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Blatt scores with a takedown into Micheals's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blatt forces his way into half guard.

Blatt is thwarting Micheals's attempts to control the position.
Blatt is trying to control. Micheals wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Blatt passes the guard and advances to mount!
Blatt wants to finish this one by submission but Micheals is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Blatt.

Blatt has control of Micheals's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Micheals regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Micheals is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Blatt is looking for the choke from the back position but Micheals is controlling his hands well.
Micheals just trying to survive but Blatt is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
