Johnson has chosen nothing else matters as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ryan Johnson looks lathargic as he enters the arena. 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Johnson! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murdocco blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Murdocco lands with a slapping head kick. Murdocco throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Murdocco ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Murdocco throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease. Murdocco tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Murdocco lands a jab to the nose. Murdocco throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely. Murdocco throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Murdocco scores with a three punch combo!
Murdocco scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Murdocco moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Murdocco scores with a kick to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Murdocco connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Johnson is rocked! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Murdocco, right into the meat.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Murdocco finish him? A head kick by Murdocco - that's a beauty! Johnson is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Murdocco can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
