Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Pirozhkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Brothers Johnson - Get The Funk Out Of My Face. Arthur Pirozhkov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arthur Pirozhkov! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pirozhkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Johnson lands a jab. A jab from Johnson misses. Johnson misses with an uppercut. Pirozhkov saw that one coming. Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Pirozhkov's shoulder, as Pirozhkov tries to avoid the shot. Pirozhkov shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Johnson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pirozhkov. Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Pirozhkov from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pirozhkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pirozhkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top! Pirozhkov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Johnson wants to stand but Pirozhkov is controlling his posture from full guard. Pirozhkov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there. Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pirozhkov is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pirozhkov keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Johnson is really struggling to control Pirozhkov but he's trying to hold on to the position. Johnson trying to move into half guard but instead Pirozhkov has managed to sweep! Pirozhkov passes easily into side control. Nice work. Pirozhkov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Johnson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pirozhkov has hold of Johnson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Johnson seems comfortable defending it but Pirozhkov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Johnson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Johnson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pirozhkov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
