Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Deckard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Stam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deckard comes to the cage accompanied by In Lust. Stam has chosen Tony Iommi - Grace as his entrance music. Leonard Stam has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rick Deckard's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deckard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stam swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Deckard scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Deckard is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stam can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stam is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Deckard goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stam is on top in guard.
Deckard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stam's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Deckard digs a good body shot into Stam's ribs.
Deckard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Deckard wants to clinch up but Stam keeps it at a distance.
Stam closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Deckard's guard.
Stam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deckard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stam might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Deckard kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Leonard Stam hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Deckard doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stam counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A jab from Deckard misses.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Deckard here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Stam steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Deckard. That one must have hurt.
Stam avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Deckard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Deckard sprawls well. Deckard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stam gets slowly back to his feet.

and Stam counters by moving into the clinch.
Deckard tries to work over Stam's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Deckard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Stam sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Deckard is looking to clinch.
Deckard lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Deckard tries to clinch but Stam moves out of range.
Stam shoots in looking for a takedown. Deckard tries to sprawl out of it but Stam keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Deckard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stam misses with a series of wild punches.

Stam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Deckard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stam tries to avoid it but Deckard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stam to the ground. Stam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Deckard as he jumps to the side.
Stam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Deckard.
Deckard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Stam counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stam is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

Deckard tries to free his leg and advance position but Stam is retaining full guard.
Deckard passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Deckard lands with a hammerfist to the side of Stam's head.
Deckard scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Deckard sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Stam taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rick Deckard!
A very excited looking Rick Deckard rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
