Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saenchai Sor Kingstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Clifton Barnes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Saenchai Sor Kingstar! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingstar moves out of range of the strikes. Barnes throws a front kick aimed at Kingstar's knee but Kingstar avoids it well. Kingstar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barnes finds it's way round the side to connect with Kingstar's head. Barnes throws a series of punches but Kingstar avoids them all with ease. Kingstar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kingstar thuds his shin into the meat of Barnes's side. Kingstar forces Barnes back against the cage and clinches. Kingstar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Barnes fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kingstar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barnes but Barnes pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kingstar lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barnes backs up against the cage.
Kingstar swats away the attempt to clinch by Barnes. Kingstar moves out of range as Barnes strikes. Barnes's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Barnes duly obliges. Kingstar takes a body punch but keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kingstar staying out of range there.

Kingstar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnes. Barnes lands the left hand. Barnes swinging wildly here.
Kingstar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kingstar tries to pass to full mount but Barnes defends it. Barnes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kingstar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barnes's head.

Kingstar wants to stand up but Barnes is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barnes misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Kingstar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Barnes has managed to free his arm - good work. Barnes moves into full guard.

Kingstar takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Kingstar trying to control the position from guard on top but Barnes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnes trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingstar gets to his feet - Barnes follows without any prompting. Kingstar throws a quick inside leg kick. Kingstar thuds his shin into the meat of Barnes's side. A combination from Barnes does no damage. Barnes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kingstar manages to avoid it. Barnes throws a jab but it's blocked by Kingstar. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kingstar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barnes to the mat! Barnes manages to get full guard. Kingstar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barnes is keeping the position for now. Kingstar wants to control from the top but Barnes keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kingstar with a nice head shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Clifton Barnes will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kingstar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kingstar lands in his opponent's guard. Kingstar gets to his feet - Barnes follows without any prompting. Kingstar shoots in for a double leg but Barnes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kingstar drives through with a takedown into Barnes's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Barnes is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kingstar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Barnes is proving hard to escape from. Kingstar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Barnes's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Barnes throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kingstar moves nicely into side control. Kingstar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Barnes manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kingstar's best efforts. Kingstar tries to stand and escape but Barnes actually recovers to full guard. Barnes will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Kingstar is looking to take a break and control but Barnes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes gets full guard. Kingstar works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kingstar is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barnes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kingstar is working away from the top position though. Barnes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Barnes missing with punches from the bottom.
Kingstar seems to be looking for submissions.

Kingstar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The crowd cheers as Kingstar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barnes doesn't seem phased though. Kingstar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kingstar - that will leave a mark!

Saenchai Sor Kingstar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Barnes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Barnes works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kingstar goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Barnes takes a swing at Kingstar's ribcage but misses. Clifton Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barnes defending well as Kingstar loads up on a big left hand. Barnes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kingstar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Barnes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kingstar counters with a three punch combo that has Barnes backing up. Barnes nods at Kingstar to acknowledge the strikes. Barnes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kingstar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kingstar dodges the punch combination from Barnes.
An inside leg kick lands from Kingstar. Barnes takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kingstar punishes Barnes's body with a nice straight punch.

and Kingstar counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Barnes throws a leg kick and Kingstar counters with a nice body shot. Kingstar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kingstar gets a double leg takedown into Barnes's guard. Kingstar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barnes is keeping the position for now. Kingstar trying to control but Barnes is working from the bottom. Barnes throws a couple of heel strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes controls Kingstar momentarily but Kingstar frees himself. Kingstar drops back looking for a leg! Barnes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barnes manages to kick Kingstar off! Kingstar jumps back into Barnes's guard. Barnes trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kingstar connects with a couple of short punches. Kingstar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kingstar looking to pass the guard. Kingstar postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kingstar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Barnes throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Barnes trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Barnes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kingstar drops back looking for a leg! Barnes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barnes manages to kick Kingstar off! Kingstar jumps back into Barnes's guard. Kingstar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Barnes has momentary wrist control but Kingstar slips an elbow through the middle. Kingstar drops back looking for a leg! Barnes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barnes manages to kick Kingstar off! Kingstar jumps back into Barnes's guard. Barnes keeping moving, preventing Kingstar from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnes is trying to control the position but Kingstar postures up. Kingstar looking to pass the guard. Barnes is trying to keep Kingstar in close.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kingstar is looking to stand up but Barnes won't let him. Barnes throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Barnes trying to keep a closed guard but Kingstar is proving a slippery customer.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kingstar. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Kingstar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Saenchai Sor Kingstar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kingstar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
