Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrej Kavelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Firestarter as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch up.
Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Johnson moves forwards but Kavelin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Johnny Johnson has been cut.
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kavelin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kavelin sprawls well. Kavelin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.

A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Kavelin, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Kavelin against the cage but Kavelin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Andrej Kavelin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Johnson.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kavelin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Kavelin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Johnson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kavelin quickly recovers to half guard.

Kavelin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.
Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Kavelin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Johnson seems content to control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kavelin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kavelin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kavelin.
Kavelin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is squirming around, avoiding Kavelin's attempts to control the action.

Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Johnson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kavelin.
Johnson tries to reverse the position but Kavelin maintains control.
Johnson tries to improve his position but Kavelin has taken his back! Kavelin has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Johnson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kavelin pushes Johnson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
