Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Elmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Elmo Elmo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Markus Mac!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac shoots and misses
and Elmo counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Markus Mac has been cut.
Mac feints and as Elmo raises his hands in defense, Mac changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mac postures up in Elmo's guard and throws a big left but Elmo blocks it.
Elmo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mac working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Elmo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mac passes into half guard.
Mac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Elmo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Elmo tries to get to full guard but Mac has control of the leg.

Elmo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mac is working away from the top position though.

Elmo wants to improve his position but Mac is controlling well.

Elmo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mac uses his free foot to push down on Elmo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Elmo.
Mac has control of Elmo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Elmo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Mac is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Elmo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Elmo shrugs it off.
Elmo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Elmo passes Mac's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mac is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Elmo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Elmo sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Mac is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elmo defends it well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mac seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Markus Mac will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Elmo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mac doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Elmo counter with a right hand.
Mac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Elmo's waist but Elmo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mac off to one side.
Mac shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Elmo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Elmo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Elmo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Elmo wants to get back to full guard.
Elmo works his way to full guard. Good work.
Markus Mac has got the better of the ground game so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Elmo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mac is one step ahead there.
Mac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Elmo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mac has managed to get both his arms back between Elmo's legs - danger averted.

Mac trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Mac loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mac is pushing down on Elmo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Elmo is fighting to maintain full guard but Mac has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mac is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elmo defends it well.
Elmo tries to roll over but Mac keeps him under control.

Mac thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Elmo is doing well to control the position and prevent Mac from advancing to side control.

Elmo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Elmo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Mac wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Elmo.
Elmo lands a big shot there that rocks Mac but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
