Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Makritsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karlos Vemola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vemola is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Balfa Brothers - Parlez Nous A Boire. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vemola takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Makritsky just misses with a punch to the body.
Jab, jab by Makritsky - just one landing.
Makritsky throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vemola tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Makritsky is in Vemola's guard.
Makritskyis looking to pass into half guard but Vemola pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Vemola is in guard.
Makritsky is pulling down on Vemola's head. It's preventing any offense from Vemola, at least for the moment.

Vemola trying to control the position from guard on top but Makritsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Vemola wants to control from the top but Makritsky keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Karlos Vemola wasn't active enough on the ground.
Oooh a lovely combination from Vemola sends Makritsky down but not out. Vemola dives into side control looking to finish.
Makritsky is rocked!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vemola slows the pace down.

Vemola tries to advance to mount but Makritsky denies him.
Makritsky tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Vemola easily slips into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Makritsky is trying desperately to improve position.
Makritsky is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Makritsky is looking to improve his position but Vemola isn't that keen on the idea.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Makritsky shoots in for a takedown but Vemola shows good takedown defense.
Makritsky misses with an uppercut.
Vadim Makritsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Makritsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Vemola which made him look bad.
Makritsky lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Makritsky tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Vemola counters with a good low kick that Makritsky was not able to check.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Makritsky moves out of range as Vemola strikes.
Vemola needs to keep his hands up - Makritsky had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vemola drops Makritsky with a big left hand and mounts him. Makritsky is in big trouble!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Makritsky tries for a takedown but Vemola sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vemola throws a nice inside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Makritsky is defended easily by Vemola.
Makritsky throws a shot from downtown. Vemola moves away and avoids it.
Vemola keeps the fight on the outside.
Makritsky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Makritsky takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Vemola lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vemola lands with a big right hook that stumbles Makritsky - he's out on his feet here! Vemola follows up with another monster hook that separates Makritsky from consciousness! Makritsky falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Vemola stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Karlos Vemola!
