Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanavio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Zuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Sanavio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Amir Zuka!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanavio lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Zuka at a distance.
Zuka tries to land a front kick but Sanavio steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sanavio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Good leg kick by Zuka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zuka closes the distance but Sanavio moves to the side
and Sanavio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zuka throws a leg kick that is checked
and Sanavio counters with a left to the body.
Sanavio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zuka moves out of range as Sanavio strikes.
Zuka throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Zuka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sanavio blocks a low kick nicely.

Amir Zuka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice uppercut lands for Sanavio. That snapped Zuka's head back.
Sanavio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Zuka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanavio.

That was a close round but I would say that Diego Sanavio will probably get the nod.

Diego Sanavio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanavio bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Sanavio throws a strike but Zuka avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Sanavio stands up over Zuka, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Zuka wants to stand and escape but Sanavio is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanavio postures up in Zuka's guard and throws a big left but Zuka blocks it.
Zuka pushes Sanavio off and gets back to his feet.

Zuka is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Sanavio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Diego Sanavio.
Well Sanavio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
