Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shia LaBeouf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaBeouf comes to the cage accompanied by Misanthrope. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cook's choice of entrance music: Lifeless by 12 Stones. Shia LaBeouf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cook falls off balance throwing a combination
and LaBeouf counters with a three punch combo that has Cook backing up. Cook nods at LaBeouf to acknowledge the strikes.
LaBeouf takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cook looks to score with a jab to the body but LaBeouf is just out of range.
Cook throws a jab when LaBeouf was well out of range.
Dane Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cook scores with a jab. LaBeouf acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

LaBeouf shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cook as he avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

LaBeouf dives in and grabs Cook's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cook pushes down on LaBeouf's head and hops out.
Cook lands a straight punch to the body, keeping LaBeouf at a distance.

Cook working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. LaBeouf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. LaBeouf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cook is pressing down on LaBeouf's thigh, looking to free his foot. LaBeouf is holding on for now.

Cook wants to pass the guard but LaBeouf is defending well.
LaBeouf is looking for a sweep. Cook is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
LaBeouf displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cook throws out the jab.

Cook looks to land a body kick but LaBeouf moved away.
Cook misses with a low kick as LaBeouf jumps back.
LaBeouf shoots in looking for a takedown. Cook tries to sprawl out of it but LaBeouf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cook manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shia LaBeouf.
