Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Tasker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snookie Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephan Tasker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Snookie Stallion! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stallion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tasker gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Stallion content just to control the position here. Tasker tries to lock up and control but Stallion gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stallion looking to ground and pound but Tasker is blocking nicely. Stallion wants to take Tasker's back but he can't do it this time. Stallion looking to control but Tasker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stallion looking to finish Tasker with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tasker!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tasker is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Stallion sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Stallion goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tasker turns into him and now he's in Stallion's guard.
Stallion escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tasker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tasker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stallion is keeping the position for now. Tasker preventing the sweep. Stallion not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tasker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stallion is keeping the position for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horrible takedown by Stallion or perhaps it was just good defense by Tasker which made him look bad. Stallion is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stallion throws a head kick that misses. Tasker feints and as Stallion raises his hands in defense, Tasker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tasker stands and steps away. Stallion gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stallion with a lazy takedown attempt and Tasker counters with a takedown into side control. Tasker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stallion is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tasker's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Stallion slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Stallion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephan Tasker dominated that round. That's time! Tasker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Stallion misses with a takedown attempt and Tasker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tasker. Stallion had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tasker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stallion Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tasker's back instead. Stallion tries to keep control of the position but Tasker is staying busy. Stallion is persistently looking for the submission but Tasker is defending it well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stallion is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Tasker is defending well though. Stallion let's go of the attempt for now. Stallion is breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Tasker's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Tasker tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tasker is looking to improve his position but Stallion isn't that keen on the idea. Stallion goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tasker is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tasker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stallion keeping full guard, as Tasker tries to pass. Stallion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tasker's guard. Tasker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stallion pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tasker is keeping the position for now. Stallion wants to control from the top but Tasker keeps moving. Stallion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tasker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tasker keeping moving, preventing Stallion from controlling successfully. Stallion sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stallion decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Tasker tries for a takedown but Stallion circles away easily and Stallion counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tasker is defending against the submission attempts here by Stallion.
Stallion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snookie Stallion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Stallion looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Stallion works his way into full mount! Stallion is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Stallion clinches but Tasker breaks the clinch and Tasker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Tasker fails with the takedown and Stallion counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stallion misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tasker is trying to control Stallion's posture but Stallion avoids it. Tasker is looking to reverse the position. Stallion is looking to take a break and control but Tasker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tasker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Stallion passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tasker!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tasker is looking to get to half guard. Tasker is working hard here to advance position. Stallion jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tasker manages to avoid the submission attempt. Stallion goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tasker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stallion but great work by Tasker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stallion wants to control but Tasker postures up. Stallion is trying to improve his position. Stallion stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Stallion is trying to control Tasker's posture but Tasker avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stallion is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tasker is staying active.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stallion regains half guard. Stallion is pressing down on Tasker's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Stallion manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tasker manages to get himself to full guard.
Stallion forces his way into half guard. Stallion is working for a kimura but Tasker is defending it quite comfortably.
And that's the end of the fight! Snookie Stallion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stallion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
