Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins gets caught napping as Alves dives in and scores a takedown. Collins manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Alves is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Collins looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Collins looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Alves has picked Collins up and slammed him! Collins can't keep hold of the triangle and Alves manages to pass to side control!

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Alves will probably get the nod.

Collins looking to break Alves's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Alves remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Collins will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Collins is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

You can see the frustration on Alves's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Collins is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Alves knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Alves for a finish.
