Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Dragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stan Burton!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton is looking to clinch.
Burton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Burton moves out of range of the leg kick from Dragon.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dragon.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dragon is working Burton over with some ground and pound from side control.
Dragon working away.
Dragon misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An elbow from Dragon crashes against the mat.
Burton parries the strikes from Dragon easily there. Dragon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Burton to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragon working the head with strikes.

Dragon is putting a hurting on Burton here, landing some big shots from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dragon postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Dragon connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Burton some visible discomfort.

Dragon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Dragon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dragon scores with a couple of short elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dragon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dragon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Burton is trying to get back to half guard.
Burton avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dragon.

Dragon in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Burton is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Don Dragon!
A very excited looking Don Dragon made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
