Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Milo Talon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milo Talon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talon closes the distance and clinches.
Talon throws a knee to the head but misses.
Talon trying to land knees to the body.
Boyka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Talon smiles and moves away.
Boyka walks forward, straight into a front kick from Talon.
Boyka throws a head kick but Talon moves out of range.
Talon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boyka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boyka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Talon moves into the clinch.
Talon looking to slow down the pace here.
Talon pushes off an throws an elbow but Boyka leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Talon misses with an elbow over the top.
Boyka can't get the takedown.
Boyka has Talon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Talon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Milo Talon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Boyka.

Talon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Talon lands an elbow inside that Boyka shrugs off.

Boyka is trying to pull guard but Talon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Boyka jumps guard and drags Talon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Boyka has his foot on Talon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Talon works his way back into a safe position though.
Boyka is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Talon is looking to advance position but Boyka has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Talon is in a horrible position here. Boyka smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boyka cracks Talon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boyka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boyka connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Talon is bucking up trying to escape but Boyka cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boyka can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Talon is looking to escape.
Talon is desperately trying to improve his position but Boyka has a good base and remains in mount.
Boyka is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Talon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Talon shrugs it off.
Boyka lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Talon is squirming around, avoiding Boyka's attempts to control the action.
Boyka lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Talon hang on?
It looks like Milo Talon has been cut.
Talon tries to hold on but Boyka postures up.
Boyka looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Talon wants to control but Boyka is having none of it.
Talon wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Boyka.
The referee warns Talon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's time! Talon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boyka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Talon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Boyka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Boyka postures up in Talon's guard and throws a big left but Talon blocks it.

Boyka looks up at the clock and then as Talon takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Boyka smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Talon wants to control but Boyka postures up.
Boyka is trying to get an arm triangle but Talon is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Talon is not content to let Boyka control the position.

Talon is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
An elbow from Boyka crashes against the mat.
Boyka cracks Talon with a big right hand but Talon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Talon is looking for a sweep.
Yuri Boyka has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boyka works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
You can see the frustration on Talon's face as Boyka controls the position.
Talon takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Talon gets caught napping as Boyka dives in and scores a takedown. Talon manages to retain guard.

Boyka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Talon defend it? Boyka steps over the head and cranks it - Talon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boyka!
